LASEK

This is the so-called superficial technique recommended for patients with deep-set eyes and a thin cornea. It involves separating the epithelium from the corneal surface using an alcohol solution. Then the deeper layers of the cornea are exposed to the laser.

After the procedure, you must wear a contact lens for a few days because you may experience pain or sensitivity to light for 2-3 days after the LASEK method. Clear vision is restored within 4 weeks of surgery.
